Villa Grove Junior Devilettes


The Villa Grove Junior Devilettes are coached by Katina Clodfelder and Alyssa Hudson.


Alyssa Hudson danced for the Villa Grove Devilettes while in high school at Villa Grove and served as captain in 2007 during her senior year. She served as an assistant varsity dance coach for Unity High School from 2008-2010 and then accepted the position as head coach for Villa Grove High School in 2010. In addition to coaching the varsity team at Villa Grove from 2010-2015, Alyssa also established the Villa Grove Junior High dance program in 2012 and coached the Parkland College dance team from 2013-2014. She returned to co-coach the Junior Devilettes in the fall of 2018. During her six seasons coaching at Villa Grove, her teams have earned seven state championship titles through IDTA as well as an IHSA sectional championship and a top three placement at IHSA finals. Alyssa has been serving as an IDTA Officer in the role of Membership & Communications Coordinator since 2012 and served as a certified IDTA and IHSA judging official from 2015-2018. In 2016, she was honored to be inducted into the IDTA Hall of Fame. Outside of her dance positions, Alyssa works full-time in Communications for the Illinois Senate. She and her husband, Clayton, reside in Sidney with their 2 year old daughter, Everleigh.

Katina Clodfelder danced for the Devilettes while in high school at Villa Grove. During her senior year in 2012, she served as captain and was instrumental in leading her team to their first state championship title. After graduating in 2012, Katina began serving as coach of the Junior Devilettes in their inaugural season. She served as a head coach for Villa Grove Junior High School from 2012-2015 and then accepted the position as varsity head coach at Villa Grove High School from 2015-2017. She returned to co-coach the Junior Devilettes in the fall of 2018. During her six seasons as coaching at Villa Grove, her teams have earned six state championship titles through IDTA. Katina was a regional representative for IDTA from 2015-2017 and began serving as an IDTA Officer in the role of Contest Coordinator in 2017. Katina resides in Champaign and works full-time as a legal assistant at Erwin, Martinkus and Cole, Ltd.
